Presentation Guideline

It is now time to prepare the power point presentations (PPP) for the workshop.

We encourage you to prepare your slides in PowerPoint for a 15 minutes presentations. The total time allotted for each of the scientific presentation is 20 minutes (15 minutes of presentation plus 5 minutes for questions and answers). We expect you plan your talk for the time allotted.  A projector and laptop will be provided. Please bring your PPP file in a CD or memory stick.

 Following are few guidelines to assist you prepare your presentation.

• Plan your presentation to fit the allocated time of 20 minutes (for presentation and questions).
• Consider your audience in the preparation of your presentation and in your presentation
• In the introduction of your presentation state yours goals, ideas and possible applications of your paper
• Time yourself through your presentation
• Limit the number of slides to match the allocated time
• Make slides readable from a distance
• Limit the amount of information on one slide
• Summarize your presentation at the end.
• Arrive on time (15 minutes before your presentation)
